- What is Integrative Nutrition, Functional Nutrition, and Ayurveda?
Functional nutrition extends a bit further, in that we'll attempt to find any root causes of issues related to your health and nutrition.
Ayurveda is considered the science of life and longevity. It is often referred to as the sister science of yoga and comes to us from the Vedas, or ancient scripture from sages deep in meditation over 5,000 years ago.. Ayurveda is the health system of India and follows a holistic approach—including nutrition, herbal wisdom, lifestyle, mental well-being, and therapeutic bodywork with the intention of finding the root cause of any imbalances (or disease).
- What is Permaculture and how does it relate to my health?
Permaculture concepts can be applied to your health and personal inner “landscape” as well. We are each extremely connected to nature and it’s offerings impact us on a deep level—much more than we know! For instance, if we care for our soil and the nutrients within, the vegetables we grow from this soil will be abundant in nutrients as well. If we deplete our soil we are essentially depleting ourselves.

For Food & Flow visits, please bring any lab work you have received from your healthcare provider within the past year.
